With thanks to...
The Education & Outreach Working Group designed our plans for involving the general public in learning about this scientific endeavor and the diversity of our grasslands; recruited dozens of volunteers, educational nonprofits and agencies who engaged participants in a variety of activities out on the land and in the Discovery Center; and coordinated the many education aspects of the BioBlitz. Thanks to the following for leading this effort: Lynne Sullivan and Dave Sutherland, City of Boulder Open Space & Mtn Parks; Larry Colbenson and Theresa Glowacki, Boulder County Parks & Open Space Dept; Tim Sandsman, Kelly Keena, and Ken Foelske, Jefferson County Open Space; Carol McLaren and Karen Hyde, Science Discovery; Jim Hakala, University of Colorado Museum; Wendy Hanophy, Colorado Division of Wildlife; Paul Kilburn, North Jefferson County Nature Association; Ann Bonnell, PLAN Jeffco and Audubon Society of Greater Denver; Caroline McLean, Thorne Ecological Institute; and Stacy Armitage and Eric Stone, U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service.
